Install in 5 easy steps

Tap “Download APK”
Use Chrome on your Android phone. If Chrome warns that this type of file can harm your device, tap Download anyway or OK. Android shows this for every app that does not come from Google Play.
Open the downloaded file
Tap Open in the download notification, or open your Files / Downloads app and tap the TMPirates .apk file.
Allow installs from this source (first time only)
If your phone says it is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source, tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then press the Back button.
Tap Install
Press Install. If Google Play Protect shows a warning, see “Play Protect blocked it” below. It takes one extra tap.
Open the app and log in
Tap Open, then log in with your account or Google. Done!
Having trouble?
Play Protect blocked it or shows a warning
On the warning, tap More details.
Tap Install anyway.
If it asks to send the app for scanning, you can choose Scan or Don’t send. Either way works.
You do not need to turn Play Protect off. Just use Install anyway.
The download did not start
Open this page in Chrome. Apps that open links inside themselves (Facebook, Messenger, Telegram, Instagram) can block APK downloads. Tap the ⋮ menu and choose Open in Chrome or Open in browser.
I can’t find the “Allow from this source” switch
Go to Settings → Apps (or Apps & notifications).
Open Special app access → Install unknown apps.
Choose Chrome (or the browser/Files app you used) and turn on Allow from this source.
On Android 7, use Settings → Security → Unknown sources instead.
Samsung: “Auto Blocker” stops the install
Go to Settings → Security and privacy → Auto Blocker and turn it off. Once the app is installed, you can turn it back on.
Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO: extra security screens
Your phone may show a security check before installing. Tap Continue or Install anyway. If the install button is greyed out for a few seconds, wait for the scan to finish.
“App not installed”
Make sure you have at least 100 MB of free storage.
Your phone must be Android 7.0 or newer.
If you installed an older version of this app before, uninstall it first and try again.
Download the file again. A cut-off download can be damaged.

Is it safe?
This is the official TM Pirates app, and it opens the same website you already use. It is not on Google Play, so Android shows the standard warnings for apps installed from outside the store. Only download it from tmpirates.com and never from links sent by other people.
